Dubai Islands is Nakheel's beachfront masterplan off the coast of Deira - five islands with around 20 km of coastline, beaches, marinas and a mix of apartments, townhouses and villas. Relaunched under its current name in 2023, it is one of the most active new-launch markets in the city, with handovers running from 2026 onward.
It is aimed at buyers who want a beach address closer to the airport and old Dubai than the Marina or Palm, at off-plan prices. Because almost everything is still under construction, buying here is a bet on the masterplan delivering - but the location, on the water and 15 minutes from the airport, is genuine.
Beach clubs, a golf course and several hotels are planned alongside the residential.
